新会員歓迎BBQの開催（9/14）のお知らせ

毎日厳しい暑さが続くこの頃、会員の皆様におかれましてはいかがお過ごしでしょうか？

さて、早速ですが新学期が始まりますので、下記の様に新会員の歓迎会を催したいと考えております。ご友人ご家族をお誘いあわせの上皆様奮ってご参加ください。非会員の方でも参加できます！

◆概要
日時：9月14日（日）午前10時30分〜午後2時30分
場所：Hoyt park (Main Shelter, 駐車場のそば）
会場への行き方：バス8番を使用し、Franklin-Kendallで下車。
台数は限られますが駐車場も利用できます。

◆詳細
持ち物：お料理もしくは飲み物を一品（ポットラック形式）
費用：会員の方は無料。ただし、非会員の方は下記参照。
雨天決行（屋根がある場所です）
メニュー：料理（ポットラック形式）+バーベキュー
飲み物、お箸、フォーク、紙皿などは役員で準備します。

◆ポットラック形式について：
キッチンのない寮住まいの方や「料理はちょっと。。」いう方は、デリなどでお料理、または飲み物やお菓子などを買ってきてくださっても結構です。会場にはバーベキューグリルを用意しますので、その場で使って温かいお料理を用意して頂くことも可能です。ただし、ビン等の割れやすい容器の持込みは禁止されておりますので、ビン容器の食事・飲み物はお控えください。

また、アルコールを持ってきていただいても構いません。（小さなお子様も来られるので飲みすぎにはご注意ください。）ただし開封したアルコールを持って駐車場に入ると処罰の対象となるのでご注意ください。

◆会費について
会員の方は無料（年会費を基にした予算から会場費等を支払っています）。非会員の方は会場費として3ドルいただきます。

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful summer in Madison. If you were away, welcome back!

We will have a BBQ to welcome new comers as well as mingling with old friends. Significant others and friends, including non-members, are more than welcome.

Details:
Potluck BBQ: Please bring dish or drinks to share.
Cost: Free for members. Refer below for non-members
We will have the BBQ even if it shines or rains, since we have a shelter.

Note that this is a *potluck* BBQ meaning that you need to bring either something to grill, such as hamburger meat or brats, or pre-cooked dish. Alternatively, you can bring catered food to share if you prefer not to cook. We will prepare grills, drinks, chopsticks, forks, and plates for you. Keep in mind that $3 will be charged if you bring no foods. City Ordinance does not allow for glass containers in the park.

Although you can bring alcohol drinks, it is illegal to bring opened alcohol to the parking lot.

Cost:
Free for members.
$3 for non-members (Used towards shelter reservation fee)
